KuKirin X1 uses a mid-mounted motor with a 48 V / 20.8 Ah battery. The stated motor power is 1 000 W and maximum power is 2 000 W. Hydraulic disc brakes are included and complement the drive system when assessing the model's overall equipment.

The stated range is up to 40 km. Use this as a starting point for planning your route, with battery capacity in reserve for the return journey. A charge takes approximately 8.5–9 hours. Temperature, load, terrain and riding style affect the distance you can actually cover.

Wheels, comfort and brakes

Together with the tyres, it forms an important part of riding comfort. The pneumatic tyres have an off-road tread. Adjust tyre pressure in accordance with the model's instructions.

Braking equipment: hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulics transfer force from the lever to the brake through fluid. The design of the braking system is therefore a relevant part of any model comparison.
